Was anyone listening to the radio on Sat morning, think it was Today FM? The guy was interviewing the minister for the dept of the enviroment and they were discussing the issue of Management Companies. The minister claimed having no knowledge that this was happening around the country or that the local authorities were no longer involved in this area. He seemed to be shocked that this the new practice in alot of new estates and said he was very concerned about it.
He stated that for the planning dept to read all planning applications would be ludicrous and that the involvement of management companies was obviously written into the applications and that's how it's been passed but that he'd look into it?
Does this mean that they might be abolished on a legal basis of some kind?
