Sorry, your reply is too vague for me to try and look this up for you. At the back of most policy documents there is an appendix giving a glossary of technical terms used in the policy document. If a definition doesn't appear here then the pension provider would be able to give you a correct answer based on their interpretation of the terms and conditions as it applies to you. You would need to write to them quoting your policy number and attaching a copy of the page of the policy document which shows the actual wording you wish to query. Would like to know answer.
