Late Payment on Current A/C

I was away on holidays and a few payments came out of my current account that I had not accounted for i.e. my account was in Debit when I checked by a couple of hundred. I lodged money to cover this on my return but got a refferal charge, only minute.

My questions are, is this an overdraft facility that has been given to me??
Will this show up on my credit rating as I am going for a mortgage in a few months?/

It's not an official overdraft facility, so you're not entitled to go overdrawn again automatically. Some banks will pay things up to an unofficial limit to save the embarassment of having an "unpaid".

An unpaid showing in your a/c's would be much more damaging to your credit rating than a referral charge. At least after referral they deemed you good enough to allow you overlimit so it doesn't look too bad.
