I have been in full time employment with my current employer since 1999. I was put on a 3 day week in May 2009. At the time I claimed jobseekers benefit for the 2 days employment I lost. I think at the time I was allowed claim 352 days which lasted till about 2011 when my entitlement finished. I wasn't entitled to jobseekers allowance as it was means tested and my husband was earning over the threshold. I am still on a 3 day week (9 to 5pm) with my employers and no signs of it going back to full time. Am I allowed to reapply for jobseekers benefit for the lost 2 days after a certain period or am I just allowed to apply the once for it?
