Jobseekers Benefit/Allowance while on study leave?

CAn a person collect unemployment while taking time off to prep for the bar exam

You mean taking unpaid time off to study but remaining an employee? I don't think so. Also if they are studying full time surely they are not genuinely available for and seeking work in which case they would not qualify for Jobseekers Benefit/Allowance anyway.

Thanks for the information. I did not think so but just wanted to make sure.
 
you must be available for full-time work and looking for work to qualify for Jobseeker's payments so therefore, you would not qualify while full-time studying.
