Hi,
Late last year I finished my employment with an interior design company. On leaving one partner with a 50% stake gave me permission to use whatever projects i worked on for my website (their business had ceased trading and mine is a similar enterprise)
I have now received a solicitors letter with ref to intellectual property infringement from the other partner, which is fine I am now removing all references to their business.
My questions are:
A. As I had permission albeit verbal could I use this to defend my use of the literature.(more interested in response rather then pursuing this!)
B. Can I use pictures that I took after I left the company, of interiors they produced, say as part of a rotating banner of Interior pictures since I would own the copyright to the photos?
C. Are logo's I created for free but outside of my remit and on my own time for the companies clients still my intellectual property as I want to display these on my site as a service I provide.
