I have a piece of electronic equipment that I need to post to the States for repair. The value of this item is about €1000.
I was going to send it with An Post as it will only cost €75 to do so but they will only insure items up to the value of €320. To ship it with UPS or similar couriers who will insure the full value will cost about €200. Is there any way of independently insuring the parcel for the full value and then shipping it with An Post?
