I'm retiring, how best to access money in US 401K?

I'm recently retired. I spent a lot of my working career in the US, so a large chunk of my retirement fund is in a 401K managed by Fidelity. I'm trying to figure out how best to access that money. Because I'm in Ireland and not the US, the only withdrawal option Fidelity offers is to post cheques to me.

So now I'm exploring two options:

1. Transfer the fund to another company in the US. Perhaps I can find one that can transfer money into my Irish current account when I need it. Does anyone know of a US company that is better equipped to transfer money to Irish?

2. Transfer the fund to Ireland, I guess in the form of a PRSA or Buy Out Bond. I am 63, so I believe I would be able to draw out the money when I need it.

I would appreciate any advice.
