I propose to divide my home into two houses and intend to sell one of them. What are the CGT implications?
 
If you have owned and occupied the house as your principal private residence and the land area is under one acre, then on the basis of what you have said, it would seem to me that you are disposing of part of your residence. This would be free of CGT provided there was no 'development' element.
