HSE Early retirement due to illness: I had 10 years of service in frontline healthcare. I resigned for family reasons to work part time elsewhere. I returned full-time almost 2 years ago but a new but debilitating health issue has happened since early this year. If I need to seek early retirement due to ill health (now 55) will the 5 years required service be met or will the break in service disqualify me?
