My friend has been working in the HSC for six years and for two years in UCD she will be working approx another 4 years in the HSC and after that will have to have a private pension. Could some one please answer the following:

Should she just leave the two years contribution to the UCE pension or can she get it refunded.
What will happen to the approx. 10 years NSC pension that she will have paid??

When she leaves the HSC she will have to take out a private pension, can all these be added together ie HSC pension, UCD pension (if she does not cash it in) and her new pension.

Do you mean HSE (Health Services Executive) instead of HSC? If not, please clarify what HSC is. What is NSC?

I think two years service is the threshold for getting contributions refunded. Was she over or under two years in UCD?
