How to get employment records p60 from 1998/2000

I contacted revenue as I'm retiring this year after working for years in schools not a teacher. I'm trying to get employment records from 1998/2000 & revenue has details of when I started work but no details of when I finished working in a certain VEC school. Anyone any ideas as to how I can get these details? I have contacted the VEC but they said they have no details of me finishing but have details of when I started work in the VEC. Seems strange but then nothing suprises me anymore. I did try logging into ROC but I need to register to get a digital cert but it won't accept my pps no. Any suggestions would be fantastic.
 
Revenue are helpful, but it can take time for them to dig up old records that have been stored offline.

If you got a P45 at the end of your employment then a copy would be on your Social Welfare file, so they might be worth asking too.
