You are definitely underinsured. Think of the costs of re-building in the event of a fire, including clearing the site, etc.. You wouldn't do it for €161, would you? Then think of costs of replacing all the contents. Would you do it for €30k?
The house contents would be about €30k I haven't moved in there yet but I would probably bring it up to 40k just incase. would you have any suggestions how much I should insure it for?
