Wonder if someone can tell me if there was a problem with Gerkros hot water cylinders a while ago , leading to a product recall - due to cracking. My cylinder is only 2 years old filling from a Kerosene Boiler & Solar Panels and has started leaking - my plumber is naturally blaming my water as he won't take responsibility despite not giving a clear explanation how a cylinder designed to hold water cracks in less than 2 years.
Heard a whisper there was a recall, but can get no details.
