Just wondering if anyone has a view on the Gillen Markets Fund, run by Rory Gillen. It is small relative to the life company investment funds (€60 million approx) marketed in Ireland and seems to have underperformed balanced funds from Zurich Life for example over a 10 year period. That said, Rory Gillen seems to be well respected and it seems well diversified as a fund of funds as many of the holdings are investment trusts. I don't know what the regulation of it is either relative to large life companies. Any thoughts?

Can you point to specific info about this fund?
According to the Gillen website:
We are investment advisors, not product sellers.

"Investment For Grown Ups"

Is this it?

Where are you seeing the performance for comparison purposes? A newsletter? Is there a quote AMC in that or info on any other ongoing costs?

Not sure which of the investment bond structures it fits under but the company commission summary document is here

There's not enough (public) information available on it to have any thoughts on it.

Maybe you have to have an account with Davy to access that or be a private client of Gillen Markets?

You can find the fund supplement and KIIDs at the IQEQ link posted above.

Basically, it’s an actively managed multi-asset fund with relatively high fees and a fairly poor track record.

Not my cup of tea.
