A friend who is currently on disability is up for doing some PT work and wants to know if they can even broach the subject with the DSP (or whoever?) without endangering their payments. I haven't the foggiest, altho, strangely enough, another friend was allowed to retain disability as long as she worked less that (20?) hours a week. I presume she has to declare earnings, but not sure how that works. It seems like a bit of a welfare trap to me, friend would like to do some work but worried they will lose out if they even ask about it. Thoughts anyone?
