Hi All,
I bought house in 2006 as FTB in Dublin (I had to pay 3% stamp duty since this was second hand house over €317500). Now that I got temporary work for 6-12 months I had to move to Galway since I cannot commute from Dublin. I am planning to rent a apartment in Galway and give my house on rent since I have to pay mortgage on my house I cannot keep it vacant. And as this move is only for 6-12 months kindly suggest me how to deal with it interms of Tax implications? do I need to pay anything to Revenue? for SD etc? Kindly suggest me.
