Contrary to your rather opinionated remarks, I'm not here to wind people up and am genuinely looking for hard facts that can be gleaned on this topic. If you've a problem with any of my posts why don't you hit the "report post" button, and the next time your can keep your personal attacks to yourself.

Afuera,

I genuinely thought it was a wind up but apparently not...so for that I apologise. You are right in asking about X, Y,Z’s per above. But surely it is better to ask this upfront rather than tease it out of people. I agree with you, strong information has not been forthcoming only some report so far with little merit. But at least, let people put forward arguments and debate them. Rather than being somewhat folly and posters not being sure of your position or what you mean - that's what I meant by arrogance - but again it's a misunderstanding that you unintentionally caused.

You links only provides for limited number of naive persons but of course some people get burn't by unscrupulous companies whilst other OPI's make good rational decisions that pay good dividends. Many more on the upside I assume. Irish are known to be canny.

I'm not here to rub people's face in some of the bad decisions they may have taken, but you don't have to go too far to find people buying overseas with little or no research.

Yes, I think a lot of people in this country have gotten carried away with the notion of property overseas. At least they are now stopping & asking questions & there are a lot of posters here with great experience who's advice is well worth taking. Better late than never !
I, for one, have learned a great deal from this site & I'm very grateful for it.
