I was wondering if there was a difference in applying for your file through the FOI Act for a company as opposed to personally?
I want to make sure I get it right and not to waste time.
I couldn't find anything on the Data Protection website.
Thank you in advance

I'm sure the OP means whether or not a company can apply for its file to a public body under FOI?

Yes T McGibney. I was wondering if a company can apply to access their files and if so, is it the same route as for an individual

You should apply under FOI in your own name. No benefit in using a company and it only creates more paperwork. There is no fee but if you apply under data protection, you may be asked for a fee of €6.35.
