Free Home Start for AA membership renewals

Just a quick one for you,

I received my AA renewal notice last week so before I called up to renew I checked the website www.aaireland.ie The website was showing free Home Start for new applications via the website.

When I called to renew I mentioned this to the AA agent and she said as I hadn't received the offer before she would include Home Start free - so saved me €40 odd

Another 12,500 of those deals and I'll have my mortgage paid off !!!

A funny bunch the AA, whenever I ring up wanting their "new customer" offers they say I can't have them as an existing customer. So I say fine I'm not renewing my current membership and start up a new membership. They don't have anything in place to stop this and were quite happy when I said that that was what I was doing.
