Does anyone have useful information on splitting a family home in separation/divorce proceedings? Such a division would be possible in my case - the house would divide in two quite easily - but I wonder how courts/solicitors/couples approach the problem.

Mmmm. Unless this is a very very very amicable separation I see trouble ahead. Would you really want to live next door/underneath/over your ex? And even if you would, would your ex?
