Hi, I am 43 years of age and I have worked for over 14 years in Ireland. I was made redundant in 2009. I was paying private pension 1/3 paid by me and 2/3 by my employer) for 7 years. Can I get my shares earlier and do I have a right to receive my contributory pension when I reach 66 anywhere in Europe if I move out of Ireland. Thanks

To answer your second question:

YES, a contributory State pensions can be paid to you no matter where you live.

The age at which state pension is paid is being raised over the coming years so will be 68 (or possibly more) by the time you reach pension age.
