P pudds Registered User Messages 1,745 8 Nov 2009 #1 On maturity of my 1yr fixed rate a/c with Halifax I earned €688.60 gross int. and paid €172.15 DIRT Tax. afaik dirt tax is currently at 23% and if thats correct I should only have been stopped €158.38 tax. Am I correct here before I tackled them.
