Demand account withdrawal

I have a demand account with 42k in it but when i asked for a bank draft for 40k they said they were all our of drafts. I asked for cash but they said they would only give me 2k cash. I missed out on a good deal. Have I any come back against the bank?

What do the terms & conditions of your account say about large withdrawals? If they don't specify that you cannot get cash then complain. If you don't get satisfaction then take it to the [broken link removed].

Could you not have gone to another branch for a draft?
