Credit Card Fraud-How long before refund

Hi, I noticed credit card purchases on my account in May. I immediately contacted my bank (AIB) and they cancelled the card and began an investigation. I was basically told that I wouldn't hear from the bank and that the money would be refunded at some stage.

I am wondering how long this generally takes?
