Hi,

has anyone experience with the below wording of a maintenance court order:

What does it exactly mean when the court order states:

'Respondent has to pay Applicant 1000 Eur per month being 925 Eur in respect for the maintenance of the children together with the sum of 75Eur in respect of a contribution towards mortgage protection on the family home.'

Who pays for he mortgage protection? Person who receives maintenance and therefore receives the full amount of 1000Eur or person in which name the mortgage protection is and therefore the amount due is only 925Eur and whatever goes directly to mortgage protection?

Also, if the house deeds will be transferred into one name only, does that also apply to the mortgage and the mortgage protection then?

Does anyone know the steps of getting all that sorted correctly?

Thank you

My reading is that you have been ordered to pay the applicant 1,000 per month.

being 925 Eur in respect for the maintenance of the children together with the sum of 75Eur in respect of a contribution towards mortgage protection on the family home.

And the applicant has been ordered to take 75 euro as your contribution towards the mortgage protection on the family home.
