with Georgo Osborne signalling that the UK will cut its corporation tax rate to 15% or lower and attract investment by cutting their top income tax rates is it time we realised we are competing with our nearest neighbour and they are far better placed to win the fight?
If we want to retain and attract investment and people responsible for wealth generation we need to look at our marginal rates of income tax and the taxation and regulatory burden on business.

The chances of that happening with the most left wing Dail in the modern history of the state is very unlikely. New politics = populism and the lowest common denominator.
