Coke 2ltr no more?

All I see on the shelves these days are 1.75 ltr bottles selling at the same price the 2ltr were selling at.

Is this more of scam the customer under the guise of smaller calorie portions but same price?

Chocolate sizes reduced - price the same, ice-cream sizes reduced - price the same and now Coca Cola are pulling the same stroke.

What's the story here?

I usually buy own brand colas so I'm hoping this doesn't infect them also.

Iceland have 3 litre bottles of Coca Cola if you need to go big :)

The calorie content of a 100ml / 100g serving of coke won't change because the bottle size is smaller, what'll change is the calorie content of the full bottle.

With the pressure to reduce the calorie content per measured serving, the cheap sugar has to be replaced with some more expensive ingredient, raising the price to the consumer.
