Cheapest way to set up Power of Attorney

Can anyone advise on the cheapest route to set up enduring power of attorney? I saw that someone here had a document that they were getting signed by a solicitor for under €100.

Is there a document online that you can fill out and take to a solicitor?

Can anyone recommend a solicitor with a competitive price?

Also would it be worthwhile doing it for two parents together, rather than just one for whom the need currently exists?

Yes there is a website but I can't post a website link because I have to post at least 15 posts first... That's why I try it this way: legalprecedents (all one word) and just ad a . and ie to that. Good luck!

You'll need a solicitor and a doctor to certify certain parts (essentially that you are in a fit state to understand the power) - it will save problems in future if the Power has to be used if that part is done correctly.

@pebbledash - I would concur with j26 - a slight saving here could store up a difficulty later.
