Usually the brokers do the shop around, and often have access 2 special rates or Lloyds. I never insure direct.
Or try direct companies like allianz, Zurich, Axa, quinn, etc. yourself.
Do also check& compare cover as well as price. Ie NCD protection, Driving other cars, costs of add'l drivers etc.
