Car damaged in airport car park

hi all,

went over to london last week for the day so parked in medium car park in cork airport. on arriving back, there was a big scrape on the bonnet, which looks like it was caused by someone's case marking it. I got one of the airport police to take a statement & he took all the details, like time, reg, name etc. what should my next steps be? would it be aer rianta or go back to the airport police?

I guess the next thing would be to find out whether Aer Rianta are responsible for the car park, and to establish whether they take responsibililty for damage occurring on their property, and take it from there..

What's the betting that the 'we take no responsibility' signs are all over the car park?
 
I think the Occupier Liability Act may get Air Rianta off the hook - any chance they'd look at the CCTV for you?
