Why dont you ask the moderators to make a keypost with all the details one would require for remorgaging an AH Unit (Shared Ownership or Annuity)

Everyone on AH is in this state. Do I use my savings to redeem the loan in case the banks go bust or do I sit tight? If you redeem the loan the clawback still stays there for 20 years which is a disincentive to do anything like this. i.e. you've fully paid but eh,,.. the council are still listed on the title deeds in the form of the clawback. I DONT THINK SO!
And if you have a onebedroom apartment, would you bother redeeming it if the balance is 130K? Or would you buy a new house because you can easily buy a house out there for that much....
