Appreciate if anyone has any insight. I applied for a Personal Loan from Bank of Ireland (the bank I have my Current/Savings Accounts and Credit Card with) on 2 October last.
They contacted me a week later asking for photo ID and proof of address, which I submitted almost straight away. Nothing since. I do have an application tracker but it hasn't been updated in 2 weeks.
I have tried calling BOI for an update on the application but all they're telling me is to keep an eye on the tracker. It has been a good few years since I applied for a Loan of any description (and that was with a different bank) but I remember the application being much quicker (like under a week).
Anyone any experience in dealing with the Lending Team in BOI, or have an application currently outstanding? I know that people say no news is good news but surely the whole application process should be quicker than this!
