Black Bin - How heavy actually is it v's charge?

Just wondering if anyone has ever checked the weight of the bin they get charged for against how heavy the load actually is it?
I've seen them empty the bin on the back of the truck but i cant see a weighing device or a scanner to match our bin with our address!
Toying with buying a suitably sized weighing scale to make sure we're not getting ripped off.
 
We are with Thorntons. They give a weight when you login to your online account. Our black bins for the last year have ranged from 59kg -95kg.
 
I was driving in traffic behind a truck today, there was a weight readout for each of the two bin lifters. So the scales is built in to the truck's lifting device.

With an increase in pay-per-weight, I can see someone on Dragon's den looking for funding to develop a scales for bins!
