hi all!!!...Basically i moving in to a new home shortly, and i need to finance furnishing the place..Now i have €3000 in savings, but my dillemma is i have also €3000 tied up in shares with the credit union, however that is held against a loan i have for €13000 euros..the apr on the loan is 9.5, i thinking the deposit rate is around 3per cent, i also have aloan with BOI for €10000, with an apr of 8.2..Ive heard that on loans over 20,000. the are charging a rate of (6.9 i think)..i was thinking of of getting a a top up on my loan with the BOI to pay off my credit union loan, thus releasing my €3000 in shares for my " furnishing purposes"...Im just wondering on the basis of those facts is that the best way to go about it????...Or has anyone any more viable solutions?????...( oh and before i forget i havent got a mortgage as its a council property!!!!..
