Best term deposit - €100K

Howdy,

I have €100K and want to put it in a secure (is there such a thing) term deposit where I can get good interest.

I had it in Rabo when the rate was 5.25% but that has now expired.

Any ideas on where to go for security + return.

I think the best all round deals at the moment are with Anglo Irish bank, http://angloirishbank.ie/.
Check out Investec bank too, http://www.investec.com/Ireland/. They have a 6 month deposit account at the moment (5.58% AER) up until the end of March which has the best rate on the market but it is only covered up to £50,000 as they are covered by the UK protection scheme but you can double this for a joint account.
