What's the best route for a company to complain against a bank when a company's turnover is in excess of €3m (as this seems to be the limit for a FSPO complaint)? I work for a company that has gone through the process of complaining to a bank and has been given a final reply with a token offer of €1,000 to go away. We feel that we are entitled to a sum in excess of €70,000 and our case is very clear, easily proved and strong. Ideally a regulator type route is available as a legal/court type route will be cost prohibitive. Also, we would prefer a regulator type route as there may have been some serious malpractice by the bank and that may be of more interest to him/her.
