Reports on the Radio this morning suggest that ISME has accused banks of "illegally" requiring security over family homes for business loans. I would have thoght there was nothing illegal about that and the same charge does not apear in writing when I google this (I don't have permission to post the URLs).
Does anyone know of any circumstances when it is illegal for a bank to require security over a family home as collateral for a business loan?
