We have applied for loan with BOI via broker. We are sale agreed on house about 10 weeks now (late Feb). We had an AIP from BOI in November and after going sale agreed we resubmitted up-to-date docs. We are waiting 8 weeks for a loan offer (that is when we managed to submit all docs), it was expected to be 4 weeks.
Have any others seen major delays with BOI?
The seller started putting the pressure on us two weeks ago, albeit that was only 8 weeks post sale agreed. We are worried that we will lose the sale with the lack of progress. We have applied direct to AIB and waiting for the AIP. Also, we started the process directly with PTSB. Either of these will take another 4 weeks before we get a loan offer.
