BoI/ICS have dropped the below deposit rates. Changes effective 3 May 2013.
AccessPlus Issue 1 from 0.75% to 0.50%.
AccessPlus Issue 2 from 0.75% to 0.50%.
AccessPlus Issue 3 from 0.75% to 0.50%.
AccessPlus Issue 4 from 0.75% to 0.50%.
AccessPlus Issue 5 from 0.75% to 0.50%.
AccessPlus 6 Month (6th varient) from 1.25% to 1.00%. BoI have also removed this procduct for new customers.
30 Day Notice Account from 1.25% to 0.75%. BoI have also removed this procduct for new customers.
BoI frequently:
(1) Launch new deposit products and then
(2) drop the rates shortly after product launch stage and
(3) leave customers 'stuck' if they want a bonus and
(4) launch new slightly renamed products at higher rates for new customers only.
Those on legacy BoI products (or newly legacy products) should switch.
