There are several websites offering shares in lotteries worldwide. Apparently, requirement of being a resident in a given country is bypassed by having a 'local representative', who has 'strong contract' with the lottery provider. Quick look to their T&C's look legit, however, such lotteries are often scams. One of them involving European Lottery Guild has been mentioned in this forum. Wikipedia has surprisingly little on this subject, all it says that 'the UK Gambling Commission offers licenses to private operators, such as Isle of Man-based company World Lottery Club to offer bets on lottery results', it does not say it allows resale of lottery tickets to individuals or syndicates. How legal are those websites and their services?
