With ETFs now taxed at 41% on gains and dividends, what other investments types are out there where an index tracker investment could be held but without the 41% tax? Is it still worth buying an ETF in order to hold a diversified investment? Or is it just individual shares that are the only thing available if we wish to avoid this 41% tax?
Would it be advisable to contribute to AVCs instead even if age related tax free limit has been reached annually and will continue to be reached going forward?
I am just trying to figure out what to do with monthly €1000 savings.
Thanks.
