How long is a piece of string - they won't tell you coz a lot of the time they just don't know - If you are not on the priority local area type list it seems to me it takes as long as a year.
You could be offered something sooner but most people I know were waiting that long !
They would know of units being built etc but really only get to dish them out once the developers hand over the keys.
