Life Acorn Life - Any good reports? dual whole life policy with critical illness cover

Hi,

We have a dual whole life policy with critical illness cover included with this crowd. Have read quite a few bad reports about them on here , just curious has anyone any good reports about them?

Who else can you recommend for whole life policies with critical illness cover?

Hi Raglan,

Canada Life and Irish Life also do whole of life policies and New Ireland have a hybrid product called Life Choice. To be honest I feel they are a very expensive way of of having life / serious illness cover and a term product with a conversion option may be more cost effective depending on your requirements. In fairness to Acorn Life their product is quite good however it will become extremely expensive the longer it goes on.Go and see an independent broker who will explain all your options and the differing plans to you

Have to agree with Leroy - I am an insurance broker btw.

New Ireland would be a good choice in my opinion - they offer a very good conversion option with their policies.

The Acorn Plan will become very expensive as you get older
