My partner is trying to get insured on a car in his own right. Previously he had been a named driver on my policy for 4 years. I have obtained evidence of this from my insurer. The problem is getting his named driver experience prior to those 4 years when he was on his ex-wifes policy.
There are a number of issues:
1) He doesn't know what company he was insured with - we contacted one company but he was only insured there for a month.
2) Another company won't give named driver experience as the policy holder only can be issued the information and the policy holder in this case wouldn't be likely to pass it on.
Unfortunately unless we can get his named driver experience we have to pay another 320 euros (on top of 600+ already paid).
Is there any way to access this information?
