30th Birthday Idea for new boyfriend.

Hi, Ive been seeing a guy for the past couple of months, not too serious as we are taking things slow, so I am unsure what is a suitable birthday present for him. As its a milestone birthday I dont want to get something too trivial but dont want to go over the top extravagant as we are in a relatively new relationship. Any advice would be great, thanks.
 
I'd say an experience rather than an item. Depending on what he is into, tickets for a gig, meal out in a top notch restaurant, days rally driving etc.
