Motor 128 Euro to pay for 2 penality points

Hi, I have my car insurance with Aviva, i recently got 2 penality points for speeding. I rang Aviva to let them now about this and now they have send me a bill of 128 Euro for having 2 penality points. Basically they are saying that you got 10% discount for having 0 penality points at the time of your last renewal ( septembet 2010). Now they have taken that discount back and asked me to pay that 10%. Does any body know is that legal? can they charge me like that. I thought that fair enough i woun't get penality point discount in my next renewal but wasen't expecting this.Does any body can advice me on this? Thanks janu

Its perfectly legal. They gave you a discount because you had no points. Now you have points the discount has been lost. They could wait. But they have chosen not to.
