Yeah. My ancient Samsung TV is max 85W when on but 0.3W in standby. That's 0.35% not 25%. But, having grown up in the 70s I'm indoctrinated to switch things off at the mains...That’s more than slightly exaggerated. Not true unless you have a defect device.
