employing somebody full time on minimum wage or will they not be in the tax bracket,and if i took saturday staff on under 18 what should i pay them thanks
Usually a single person on minimum wage employed full-time with a full single persons tax credits and allowance will not be in the tax bracket. You have to make sure that they have their full allowance.
Employees who are under 18 years of age are entitled to €5.81 per hour with effect from 1st January 2007. But i can guarantee you that you will not get any 16 or 17 year old to work for that. The following is a good website. http://www.entemp.ie/employment/rights/minimumwage.htm
