Sorry if this is wrong section couldn’t find correct

Is it possible to get a job with bad credit example debt judgment, in the likes of shop or factory

Are credit checks for these regularly done or is it usually for financial jobs

Hope someone can help to put mind at ease

Of course it is. . Your local shop won't have the time or the ability to carry out a credit check on you.

You will probably be asked to provide references

I already have a good job, was just worried in case I got debt judgments made against me and credit ruined if they left me gi would I be able to get another job

A small factory or shop are unlikely to check these so? Thanks for help

Employers are not allowed to access your credit rating without your consent.
Having a bad credit rating would not be fair grounds for dismissal.
You could make an unfair dismissal claim against any employer who acted in this manner.

if I had a judgment against me to enforce money owed for a debt

This would be different from credit check

Would I still be able to get a job in a non financial sector such as shop or factory etc
